David “BS” Bradshaw is a New York City-based performer, songwriter, and improviser known for blending freestyle rap, musical improvisation, storytelling, and crowd interaction into live experiences that feel spontaneous, electric, and completely unrepeatable.

A performer with Freestyle Love Supreme who has also collaborated with Boom Chicago and Baby Wants Candy (Shamilton), BS has performed and taught internationally through the U.S. State Department’s Next Level USA initiative as a State Department Cultural Ambassador. He has lectured at Harvard University and released music through Tommy Boy Records. His performances and workshops have appeared in theatres, festivals, classrooms, late-night cyphers, and community spaces across the U.S. and abroad.

Drawing from both Hip-Hop and improvisational theatre traditions, BS creates performances rooted in spontaneity, musicality, listening, and real-time human connection. Whether building verses from audience suggestions, leading collaborative freestyle experiences, or performing original material, his work centers presence, play, and creative risk-taking.

Through Freestyle Fitness NYC, BS also leads workshops and coaching experiences that help performers, artists, improvisers, and first-timers build confidence, musicality, listening skills, and creative freedom through freestyle rap and collaborative play.
